It All Began With An Idea.
The property (approximately 11 acres) is naturally beautiful with large trees (oak and walnuts), a spring-fed creek, fenced-in pastures, and an old pole barn. It was 2019 when the owners’ son Tyler and his bride-to-be Ashley asked if they could have their wedding on the property and the owners (James and Sandra) were delighted - “Of Course!” But, they wanted everything to be as perfect as possible for their big day so they got to work!
They renovated the pole-barn, converted a horse stall into a bar, added a small deck, improved the landscaping, added some crushed rock for a path up to the barn.
And, on their wedding day, well, it was perfect for them and it was a magical day. It was then that James and Sandra realized their passion to hosting events on their property.
They then set out to do all the things necessary to make it perfect for others to have their wedding day or special event here at the new Spring Hill TN wedding event venue - Enchanted Springs at Gordon Farms.
Our Mission
Over the past few years, the style of wedding ceremonies has shifted. A simpler, more casual wedding ceremony and reception is replacing the more formal affairs. Barns (those iconic structures that dot the countryside) can offer the warm, rustic charm and back-to-basics feel many couples crave.
For 2022, the average wedding cost came in at $27,000. This is $1,000 less than the average in 2021. We believe that couples will continue to spend less on weddings and use the money for other things (house, honeymoon, etc.). However, the cost of weddings and specifically wedding venues is increasing. The goal then was for us to provide a lower cost venue option for couples so that they can celebrate their love for each other amongst their family and closest friends and do so in a more cost-efficient way.
